The 2026 Monaco Grand Prix has once again confirmed its status as a must-see event on the Formula 1 calendar, attracting nearly 250,000 spectators over four days, continuing the record attendance figures seen in recent years. The weather, which was warm and sunny throughout the weekend, provided ideal conditions for both the drivers and the many visitors. On the track, Andrea Kimi Antonelli took the win ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Pierre Gasly, with the latter finally regaining his place on the podium following a review of the penalties. This year’s event will be remembered above all for a red flag interruption caused by damage to the track at La Rascasse – an extremely rare occurrence in Monaco – which led to a second start and a particularly spectacular finale. The second race saw Oliver Rowland take victory ahead of Felipe Drugovich and António Félix da Costa, following a remarkable display of strategic management. This edition will also be remembered for the intensity of the overtaking manoeuvres, the numerous Full Course Yellow periods and the strategic use of Attack Mode, demonstrating once again that the Monaco circuit lends itself perfectly to the spectacle of Formula E.
